Bahia is a model/actress who was born in Bahia, Brazil. Bahia was adopted at a very young age and was raised in NY. She has been singing for as long as she can remember. For Bahia, her passion for being an actress came as she became older. Although, she was known for being quite a character as a child. Growing up, Bahia’s natural talents were enhanced by an open atmosphere and the diversity of music. Her parents always gave inspiration through their constant support in anything she did. Bahia’s talent for modeling is irresistible for her but, acting is her passion.

This now twenty year old model/actress, as a child, attended The Children’s Theatre Company. This is where she began to enjoy the arts of her life and began to show off her many talents which consisted of acting, singing and dancing. She was often given solo parts. Bahia has also made appearances as an extra in well known scenes. These scenes include “American Gangster” featuring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. She has also made an appearance on the “Naked Brothers Band - “County Fair””. Her modeling has been exercised in the magazine “Hype Hair” . This photo shoot was done in 2006. These experiences have escalated Bahia in many ways. Along with her ongoing experiences her influences and inspirations are of many. Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross, Oleeta Adams, Paula Patton, Angelina Jolie and many others. These experiences has also allowed Bahia to develop followers. Her fan base continues to grow on a daily basis.

Bahia also attended Repertory Company for The Arts High School In New York City , Bahia appeared in plays ,and has also performed monologue pieces as well.

Bahia’s motives are constant and persistent. She is far from being easily deterred. Bahia’s keys to her success are being focused and maintaining passion. Bahia wants to show and let the world know she has much to offer and achieve.

Bahia’s overall agenda is to create change in society, worldwide. Part of Bahia’s focus is making things better for children and all education. Bahia strongly expresses this will be done and acknowledged through her talents. Bahia symbolizes herself as “well known” and “achieved”.

This spectacular event consists of a fashion show to include the Fall Collection of Designers. The event will be held Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM, at Helen Mills Event Center located at 137-139 West 26th Street, NY, NY 10001.

WICKED will bring together people from various backgrounds. This red carpet event is expected to have 400 guests, including 50 special invites to the following groups: Andre Tally of Vogue Magazine, Kenneth Cole, H&M, Saks 5th Avenue, Macy’s, Banana Republic, Hot 97, 105.1, Carol’s Daughter, Nine West, Sephora, MAC Cosmetics, Fashion Fair, Mary Kay, Avon, Rihanna, Kanye West. Events will conclude with a red carpet celebration; the red carpet after party will involve live music, dancing, and meet and greet with the show’s Designers.

Taking a look at his Fall 2009 collection, you can see that he once again delivered a mastered conceptual story. The story tells of mod black and white mixes of experssion. I can only say, well done.

5 Tips for staying healthy!

1. Add exercise to your weekly calendar - It is always good to add a little exercise to your daily activity. Whether it's just a brisk walk or doing stoops adding a little exercise helps burn calories and reduces your stress level. So prep yourself and have a small work out plan, you will find yourself more proud at the end of the month.

2. Eat healthy and eat fresh to stay fit - Eating the right foods is always good for the body. Try to stay away from a lot of packaged and processed foods. If lunch seems to be getting away from you have a fruit or some whole grain foods, or even catch a salad with light dressing.

3. Treat yourself each week - You have been on the move with no stopping, well it's time for a treat. Set yourself a schedule to go get the nails and hair done or maybe you want to spend some time doing a little shopping for yourself. So take time each week and enjoy you, it will be worth it.

4. Get adequate sleep - Resting does the body good. Making sure that you get the proper amount of rest helps the body. With out adequate sleep your body will feel stressed and drained. So get the rest that is needed, this will also help you work productively.

5. Take a day off for yourself - We know that work is important and time is precious; but find your day as an relaxation period. Take a breather and live. Allow yourself to enjoy what ever it is you love to do. Whether it's sitting home eating a box of chocolates or watching all your favorite old time movies or enjoying family; free yourself it's worth it.

Christian Siriano Collabing with Starbucks!!

Remember, Christian Siriano of Bravo's Project Runway? Well guess who's coming for latte's!

Yesterday, Chrisitian Siriano stop by at Starbucks to unveil his new holiday collaboration with Starbucks. From being the selected winning designer of Project Runway to being the first contestant to show his line during Mercedas Benz fashion week, and to selling his clothes in Saks. You can only say there is no stopping with Chrisitian. He's hot and the fire won't burn out.

Details of his collaboration with Starbucks has not yet been revealed. We can only wait until November 17th, to see what Christian has designed for us. Maybe, he has spiced up the Starbucks uniform look for the holiday by adding a little cheer to the plain green smock, white shirt, and black bottom attire. Or maybe designed little elf's shoes for the employees. What ever the look is, it's going to bewild us with excitement.
